He has consulted with state and federal regulatory agencies, on issues ranging from federal product recalls and enforcement of gasoline price controls to small business protection and consumer finance regulation.

His thought leadership drives the vision for Credit.com and IDT911, which he co-founded as Identity Theft 911, in 1994 and 2003 respectively. Now in its 13th year, IDT911 has become one of the largest identity theft education, resolution, identity management and data breach preparedness and response companies in the country. It has a client base of 660 institutions and 770,000 small businesses. On an enrollment basis, more than 10 percent of the households in the United States (some 17.5 million) participate in one or more of its resolution, life-stage management or breach response programs.

For more than two decades, Credit.com has been considered one of the most respected credit education and consumer advocacy companies in the nation. More than 30 million consumers visit Credit.com each year. Its award-winning free Credit Report Card has drawn rave reviews from consumers, personal finance experts and the media.
